Film 'Welcome to the Dragon Restaurant' denies box office theft allegations

The producers of the film 'Welcome to the Dragon Restaurant' issued a statement on August 14 denying allegations of box office theft, after a moviegoer said a cinema in Shangcai issued a ticket for their film instead of 'Kung Fu Women's Football' with handwritten alterations. The producers said the cinema's ticketing issue was an operational error, that the cinema had refunded and corrected the tickets and supplied the correct box office data, and that they had not participated in or authorized any such operation.
