Terms of Use

The rules that apply when you use brand.com websites, including Brand Wiki, and the plans described there.

Last updated November 5, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to the brand.com websites, including Brand Wiki, and the plans described on those websites. By using the services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Agreement

If you use the services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the services.

The services

brand.com publishes Brand Wiki, a public encyclopedia of brands and companies. Each published profile is available as HTML and as JSON and Markdown. The websites also include pricing, the blog, claim and correction forms, and the methodology, sources, and editorial policy pages. A crawler may fetch a path when our robots.txt allows that crawler to fetch it. Paid plans on the pricing page add the services listed for that plan, such as a claimed profile, AI crawler reports, and relationship, promotion, and analysis services. No public API keys, endpoints, or developer access are currently issued. Features, coverage, and availability may change. A product marked on the site as coming soon becomes part of the services when we make it available.

Accounts

The public site does not require a login. You are responsible for the accuracy of claims, corrections, and messages you submit. A claim uses a work email on the brand’s official domain and the other identity details the form requests. We may refuse, request changes to, or remove a submission that violates these Terms or that presents a security or abuse risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the services in violation of applicable law.
  • Collect the services by automated means at scale, including scraping, crawling, harvesting, or mirroring pages, and including the use of scripts, headless browsers, or rotating identities. This applies to commercial use, research use, and any other use. A crawler may fetch a path when our robots.txt allows that crawler to fetch that path, within any limit stated there. We may rate-limit or refuse other automated access.
  • Copy, download, or compile a substantial part of the site or Brand Wiki, or use the services as training data, fine-tuning data, or another dataset, without our prior written permission. This applies to commercial use, research use, and any other use.
  • Resell, sublicense, or republish a substantial part of Brand Wiki or other brand.com content, or republish non-public output such as crawler reports or analyses, except as a written agreement allows.
  • Interfere with or overload the services, bypass rate limits or access controls, or probe non-public systems.
  • Attempt to access another person’s account, report, or non-public system.
  • Upload malware, or use the services to send spam or deceptive content.
  • Misrepresent brand.com output as legal, investment, or professional advice, or as an official statement by a brand we profile.
  • Submit a false claim, impersonate a brand or another person, or misstate a report or measurement we provide.

Brand Wiki content

Brand Wiki profiles are compiled by brand.com from structured facts, research, and materials submitted to us. They are provided for information and research. Coverage may be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Treat a missing field as unavailable. Brand Wiki is not an official statement by the brands we profile, and it is not advertising or a paid ranking. Cite the canonical HTML profile. The methodology, sources, and editorial policy pages describe how entries are compiled. JSON and Markdown copies are for extraction.

Your submissions

If you submit a claim, correction, access request, or other content, you grant brand.com a non-exclusive license to use that material to operate, review, and improve the services, including publishing verified brand facts. You represent that you have the right to submit the material and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Intellectual property

The services, the brand.com name and marks, and original brand.com content are owned by brand.com or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you. You may link to public pages, and you may quote a short passage with attribution to brand.com and a link to the canonical page. Systematic copying of the site or Brand Wiki at scale, including building a database or model from it and using it as training or fine-tuning data, requires our prior written permission. A use that applicable law does not allow us to restrict remains available.

Plans and billing

Plan descriptions on the pricing page are informational. Reading Brand Wiki is free. You may submit suggestions, new-brand requests, and corrections for review. Growth, Professional, and Enterprise add the features listed for those plans. Where a plan includes them, that covers a claimed page, AI crawler reports, and a Claimed badge after we confirm the work email. Scope, usage limits, promotion schedules, and enterprise terms may be set in a separate order. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in an order. We may change plans with notice for a later billing period.

Disclaimers

The services are provided “as is” and “as available.” brand.com does not warrant that Brand Wiki records or citations are complete, current, or error-free. You are responsible for how you use the information, including any business, marketing, or disclosure decisions.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, brand.com and its suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the services. Our total liability for claims relating to the services is limited to the amounts you paid us for the services in the three months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you have not paid. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms, if we must do so for legal or security reasons, or if we discontinue a product. Provisions that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) remain in effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, courts of competent jurisdiction may hear it, except where consumer-protection or other mandatory rules require a different result. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you cannot waive under local law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the services change. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when reasonable. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
