Brand Wiki standards

Editorial policy

Brand Wiki’s editorial standards: neutral entries, omitted unverified claims, corrections through claim, and no paid rewrite of history.

Brand Wiki is maintained as a reference work. Entries describe companies and brands; they do not promote them.

Independence and tone

Profiles are written in a neutral register. They are not advertising copy. Disputed episodes appear under Controversies and are linked to a source when one is on file.

Authorship

Profiles are maintained by Brand Wiki editors at brand.com. Individual bylines are not attached to brand entries.

Corrections

Errors should be reported through the brand claim process or by contacting brand.com. A claim confirms identity and can request a factual correction. It is not a paid rewrite of history.

Claims

An approved claim means the brand representative has confirmed the profile. Unclaimed profiles remain the default public record and should be read as such.

Other brand.com products

brand.com also publishes other products. Brand Wiki entries do not carry scores, rankings, or promotional placements from those products.
