Six Xuzhou rural commercial banks complete new-establishment merger; Jiangsu Xuzhou Rural Commercial Bank enters substantive operation
Six rural commercial banks in Xuzhou, Jiangsu — the former Xuzhou, Fengxian, Peixian, Suining, Pizhou and Xinyi rural commercial banks — completed a new-establishment merger, consolidating their systems between 20:00 on October 4 and 08:00 on October 5, 2026. From October 5, 2026, the six banks' business seals were abolished and the unified seals of the newly established Jiangsu Xuzhou Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. took effect, with the new bank entering substantive operation. The merger was structured as jointly establishing a brand-new legal entity rather than one bank absorbing the other five, with all six original legal entity statuses cancelled; the new bank completed business registration on September 28, 2026 with registered capital of 11.285 billion yuan.

Six rural commercial banks in Xuzhou, Jiangsu — Xuzhou, Fengxian, Peixian, Suining, Pizhou and Xinyi — completed a new-establishment merger in which the original legal persons are deregistered. The newly formed Jiangsu Xuzhou Rural Commercial Bank completed industrial and commercial registration on September 28, 2026 with registered capital of 11.285 billion yuan and the six original banks as shareholders (led by the former Xuzhou Rural Commercial Bank with 32.68%); from October 5 the six original banks' business seals were abolished and the new bank's seal took effect.
