    Notified for Illegal Personal Information Collection; Mnemonic Content Alleged Vulgar and Borderline

    In August 2025, the National Computer Virus Emergency Response Center notified 70 apps, including Maimemo, for illegally collecting and using personal information, including failing to prominently prompt privacy policies, failing to list the purposes, methods, and scope of collection, failing to provide a convenient way to withdraw consent, and insufficient protection of minors’ information. In the same year, its user-generated mnemonic content was alleged to contain vulgar and borderline content, covering word banks from primary school to university. It was notified and required to rectify.
