    AQSIQ Spot Check of Milk-Containing Beverages Puts Xiajin Sweet Milk and Suan Suan Ru on Substandard List

    In an AQSIQ spot check of milk-containing beverages, Ningxia Xiajin Dairy's 'Xiajin Sweet Milk' and 'Xiajin Suan Suan Ru' were notified as noncompliant for items including labels failing to state protein content. In a 2007 Guangzhou spot check, Carrefour pure milk contract-manufactured by the company was also placed on the noncompliant list, and Carrefour removed products of the same type from shelves.
