New Wuling car damaged in crash during 4S dealership staff's license-plate registration trip in Tianjin

A Tianjin buyer who ordered a five-seat Wuling car at the Tanggu store of Tianjin Pengchi Wuling Automobile Sales Co. paid a deposit on October 1, 2026 and completed payment and purchase procedures on October 7. A store employee then drove the vehicle to the local traffic management authority for plate registration and information filing before handover; en route the car ran over an iron rod on the road, blew a tire, lost control and struck a guardrail, shattering the window and damaging the tire, wheel, side and bumper, and the driver was slightly injured. Police and insurers were notified and the car needs repair. The buyer refused to take the damaged car and asked for a replacement, saying his request was rejected; the store said it did not reject the request but has proposed no solution, calls itself also a victim, and wants to find the party responsible for the dropped iron rod (the responsible person or road maintenance authority) for compensation.
