Unpaid student refunds and employee wages spark large-scale rights-protection action

In early 2019, Taisha Study Abroad (Chenghuai Technology), due to the concentrated maturity of its 'full refund if dissatisfied' commitments and deteriorating cash flow, failed to honor contract refunds for many students; employees were owed wages and had social insurance payments suspended, and some outsourced service providers stopped service, interrupting student applications. It was called a 'deadbeat,' and A-share shareholder Huawen Media was implicated. Students were advised to sue, with no unified compensation.
