    XPeng announces second-generation VLA 630 upgrade, G9L to debut

    XPeng announced on August 25, 2026 that the second-generation VLA 630 version completed its first major model upgrade. On-device model parameters increased 3.5 times, claimed to be 15 times the scale of mainstream VLA models; end-to-end response speed improved 300%, mainly to improve safety negotiation and deceleration in assisted driving. The version will debut globally on the XPeng G9L.
