Beibu Gulf Port announces planned acquisition of 100% equity of Henggang Terminal and share trading suspension

On the evening of October 7, 2026, Beibu Gulf Port (000582) announced it is planning to acquire 100% equity of Guangxi Free Trade Zone Qinzhou Port Area Henggang Terminal Co., Ltd. by issuing shares and paying cash, along with raising supporting funds; its shares were suspended from trading from the market open on October 8, with the suspension expected to last no more than 10 trading days and the formal transaction plan to be disclosed by October 22 at the latest. The parties have signed an acquisition intent agreement; because the counterparties are entities within the controlling shareholder's system, the transaction constitutes a related-party transaction but is not expected to constitute a major asset restructuring.
