CCB Chongqing Branch launches 'ESG Carbon Quota Loan' carbon finance product
China Construction Bank's Chongqing Branch, guided by the Chongqing Ecology and Environment Bureau and the Chongqing United Property Rights Exchange, launched 'ESG Carbon Quota Loan', described as a first-of-its-kind carbon finance product in Chongqing, allowing key emission enterprises with good CCB ESG ratings to pledge carbon emission allowances (CEA) for cross-compliance-period financing, with dynamic pricing linked to carbon and green performance. The bank also disbursed the city's first such loan of 5 million yuan to Chongqing Pengkai Fine Chemical Co., Ltd.

Chongqing housing association and China Construction Bank Chongqing branch sign housing-rental cooperation memorandum
The Chongqing Real Estate Association and China Construction Bank Chongqing Branch signed a memorandum to support the development of housing-rental enterprises. The bank branch said it would provide a range of financial services and planned to arrange 20 million yuan in special operating loans for smaller rental enterprises affected by the pandemic.
