Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center launches world's first fully autonomous long-horizon robot task execution system
On August 17, the Chengdu Humanoid Robot Innovation Center released what it describes as the world's first fully autonomous (no remote control) long-horizon robot task execution system for complex language instruction sets, addressing robots' inability to autonomously complete decision-making and planning in unfamiliar environments. The system integrates a world model with a VLA approach and an Agent-MCP-Skills hierarchical cognitive decision framework; the related technology has received a patent authorization from the China National Intellectual Property Administration. A demonstration video showed the 'Gongga No. 1' humanoid robot, developed by the center, autonomously executing three subtasks in sequence from a single complex instruction without remote control.
