    Affiliated Pharmacies Used Fake Prescriptions in Over 100 Million Yuan Insurance Fraud

    The National Healthcare Security Administration reported that four pharmacies in Harbin forged tens of thousands of handwritten prescriptions to defraud the medical insurance fund of over 100 million yuan, including the Baofeng Pharmacy Shenye store under Shuyu Pingmin. Police opened a criminal case, froze 62.23 million yuan of medical insurance funds, and 51 people were punished. Other stores had their medical insurance agreements terminated for settling claims through drug substitution. Medical insurance agreements terminated, business suspended; multiple people held criminally liable.
