App suddenly removed and learning device inappropriate content controversy
In August 2023, the iFlytek Spark App was briefly removed from the Apple App Store for compliance rectification and restored the next day; in October of the same year, iFlytek learning devices were reported to contain inappropriate essay content belittling historical figures, triggering a public opinion storm and a sharp stock price drop; iFlytek said the content came from a third party and was unrelated to Spark. It rectified and relisted; the inappropriate content was removed.
