    CCB Chongqing Branch launches 'ESG Carbon Quota Loan' carbon finance product

    China Construction Bank's Chongqing Branch, guided by the Chongqing Ecology and Environment Bureau and the Chongqing United Property Rights Exchange, launched 'ESG Carbon Quota Loan', described as a first-of-its-kind carbon finance product in Chongqing, allowing key emission enterprises with good CCB ESG ratings to pledge carbon emission allowances (CEA) for cross-compliance-period financing, with dynamic pricing linked to carbon and green performance. The bank also disbursed the city's first such loan of 5 million yuan to Chongqing Pengkai Fine Chemical Co., Ltd.
