Great Wall Pao launches Hi4-T ecosystem models at 2026 Chengdu Auto Show
On August 21, 2026, at the Chengdu International Auto Show, Great Wall Pao held a Hi4-T ecosystem model launch event. The commercial Pao Hi4-T Drone Pilot Edition and passenger Pao Hi4-T Black Warrior Edition officially went on sale, with the Drone Pilot Edition two-wheel-drive PHEV starting at 151,800 yuan and the four-wheel-drive Hi4-T at 168,800 yuan; the Black Warrior Edition Comfort trim is 178,800 yuan and the Prestige trim 188,800 yuan. The Hi4-T Light Travel Co-creation Edition and double-row pop-top RV also opened for pre-order.

Great Wall Cannon vehicle recall announced
Great Wall Motor filed a recall plan for 71,319 Great Wall Cannon vehicles produced from September 24, 2019, to August 9, 2020, with the recall scheduled to begin on September 1, 2020. The vehicles’ manuals did not sufficiently warn about risks from using the tow hook in special circumstances, creating a risk of misuse and possible tow-hook breakage in extreme use. Great Wall Motor said it would replace the electronic manuals, add warning labels, and provide a free technical upgrade to the tow hooks.

Great Wall Cannon introduced its commercial pickup, with a stated starting price of 111,800 yuan. The report says the vehicle had arrived at a Beijing dealership and could be pre-ordered there.
