    Absolute Security acquires Phoenix Technologies' FirmGuard firmware security service

    Absolute Security announced that it has acquired FirmGuard, Phoenix Technologies' UEFI BIOS firmware security, management, and networking service. Absolute will integrate FirmGuard's deep firmware and UEFI capabilities into its Autonomous Cyber Resilience Platform, with a first phase delivering broader below-the-OS management, continuous firmware integrity and patching, expanded data-wipe options, and one firmware-to-cloud console. Boston Meridian Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to Phoenix Technologies through the completion of the acquisition.
