Massachusetts regulators fine three cannabis companies
The Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission fined Garden Remedies $200,000 for pesticide use and falsified invoices, Healthy Pharms $350,000 for pesticide use over several periods, and Acreage Holdings $250,000 over licensing applications that exceeded the allowed ownership or control limit. Garden Remedies said it fired the employees involved; Healthy Pharms' parent said it corrected the violations and implemented preventive procedures.
