Advanced Towing sues Arlington County over towing rate cap
Advanced Towing filed a lawsuit in Arlington County Circuit Court against Arlington County, seeking to raise the base towing rate from $160 to $210. The company argues the County Board's rate decision was unsupported, arbitrary and capricious and failed to comply with its statutory obligation to reflect fair market value. The county has filed a demurrer arguing the complaint is insufficient as a matter of law, and a hearing on the demurrer is under advisement.
