Adventure World faces backlash over ride weight checks

Adventure World faced criticism after introducing scales at rides that could bar patrons deemed too heavy. Families complained that the visible checks embarrassed children, and the article reports calls to boycott the park. The park responded that guests over 75 kilograms could still ride the Abyss rollercoaster if the harness closed correctly, and said it was enhancing guest safety.
