The Game–50 Cent and G-Unit conflict
A dispute between The Game and 50 Cent escalated through radio comments, diss tracks, and a shooting that left an associate of The Game wounded. The Game was later transferred from Interscope to Geffen to help end his contractual ties to Aftermath and G-Unit.

Sampling lawsuit involving Truth Hurts's Addictive
Lata Mangeshkar sued Truth Hurts, Dr. Dre, and DJ Quik over the alleged unauthorized use of one of her recordings in “Addictive.” The dispute affected the commercial prospects of Truth Hurts's debut album and contributed to her subsequent separation from the label.
