    IDH launches Resilient Coffee Program with Aldi Süd as frontrunner investor

    The Netherlands-based Sustainable Trade Initiative IDH launched the four-year Resilient Coffee Program (RCP), a pre-competitive investment platform aimed at reaching 300,000 farmers by 2030 across Vietnam, India, Colombia and Uganda, with a goal of about 500,000 metric tons of regenerative coffee annually. Aldi Süd Group was named the frontrunner investor; financial terms were not disclosed. The program is open to additional roasters, traders, governments and financiers.
