Mr. Tavares-Finson said the company was fined $50,000 each on 28 counts of lending currency without authorisation under the Bank of Jamaica Act, as well as $2.5 million for eight breaches of the Banking Services Act.
Alliance Finance has been fined $21.4 million, for breaches of the Bank of Jamaica Act and the Banking Services Act.
