Alliant acquires New Hampshire insurance broker Melcher & Prescott
Alliant has acquired Melcher & Prescott, a Laconia, New Hampshire-based independent insurance agency founded in 1862 that provides commercial insurance, employee benefits, personal lines and life and health coverage across New England. The firm will transition to operate as Alliant Insurance Services, and no financial terms were disclosed.
