Ankai Reported to Be on NEV "Subsidy Fraud" List
In 2016, the Ministry of Finance and other authorities checked subsidies for NEV promotion. A circulated list showed that Ankai was among non-compliant companies in categories such as "vehicles present but lacking batteries," and the subsidies involved may be recovered. Ankai announced that it denied subsidy fraud, saying the vehicles had been delivered and operated with batteries; no final penalty outcome was seen made public.
