PowerCore power-bank fire-risk recalls
Anker voluntarily recalled five PowerCore models because of a potential manufacturing issue involving lithium-ion cells from one supplier. A September 2025 U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission update cited reports of fires and explosions and identified approximately 481,000 affected units. On June 12, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of Anker PowerCore 10000 model A1263 power banks, more than 1 million units. The lithium batteries may overheat, posing fire and burn risks; users can apply for a replacement under the recall program. This entry is limited to the specified model and sales batches.

eufy camera privacy controversy
eufy had represented that webcam recordings were stored locally and were inaccessible through the cloud. Security researcher Paul Moore reported that images and videos were uploaded to AWS-hosted servers and associated with user data, and that material remained after deletion attempts. The controversy led some sponsored organizations to end relationships with Anker and was followed by changes to eufy's published privacy language.
