NVIDIA and AWS expand partnership to deploy 2 million additional GPUs
NVIDIA and AWS announced an expanded partnership to deploy an additional 2 million NVIDIA GPUs across AWS global infrastructure between 2027 and 2028, covering Blackwell Ultra, Rubin and Rubin Ultra architectures, and to deepen cooperation in AI factories, CPUs, networking, open models, data processing and robotics. Annapurna Labs will support NVLink Fusion starting with next-generation Trainium4 chips.

Nvidia launches NVHBM custom high-bandwidth memory
Nvidia announced NVHBM, a custom high-bandwidth memory (HBM) base die for its NVLink Fusion toolbox, claiming up to 30% more bandwidth per memory stack, 15% lower power, and up to 30% more compute area on the main accelerator die compared with standard HBM4e. Nvidia said NVHBM was designed and validated with leading memory vendors, and named Amazon's Annapurna Labs as the first partner.
