    UK consumer group Which? found that dashcam brand Apeman offered buyers cashback and other incentives in exchange for five-star reviews and induced deletion or modification of negative reviews. In 2021, Amazon removed Apeman and other Chinese brands in a crackdown on review manipulation; afterward Which? found Apeman products reappeared on Amazon under new brand names. Amazon banned the brand and deleted the relevant product pages again after Which? notified it.
