Asurion completes acquisition of Domestic & General
Asurion announced on Oct. 8, 2026 that it has completed its acquisition of Domestic & General (D&G), a UK-based provider of appliance protection operating across the UK, Europe and the US. The combination expands Asurion's international presence and its position in the US appliance and connected home devices market. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, and Domestic & General will continue to operate under its existing brand within Asurion.

Asurion announced that Asurion Home+ customers can receive approved claim reimbursements the same day through PayPal, Venmo, or direct-to-debit, with payments possible in as quickly as 30 minutes after claim approval.
