Aihuishou Notified Over Non-Compliant Personal Information Collection; Complaints Exceed 20,000
Aihuishou WeChat mini-program under ATRenew was notified by cybersecurity authorities because its privacy policy did not fully list the collection scope, third-party sharing, and withdrawal of authorization; meanwhile, the Black Cat Complaint platform has accumulated about 23,000 to 30,000 complaints, concentrated on recycling price suppression, 'last-minute price cuts after receipt' ('daoshou dao'), quality inspection inconsistent with the actual item, and difficulty obtaining refunds. Aihuishou App Delisted for Failing to Rectify Over-Collection of Personal Information
IT之家 reported that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the removal of 106 apps that had not completed rectification, and Aihuishou version 5.8.3 in the Xiaomi App Store was listed for collecting personal information beyond scope.
