    Amazon Store Suspensions over Review Manipulation

    In May 2021, a large number of products under Aukey and other brands owned by Aukey Technology were removed from Amazon and accounts restricted, pointing to inducement of positive reviews/fake orders; the prospectus disclosed that employees had invited influencers to comment or included coupons with products to induce ratings; Amazon restricted 276 online stores, froze about RMB 236 million in funds and removed products from 61 brands. The brands basically disappeared from Amazon, and the company transformed.
