Axiata reports weaker second-quarter earnings and revenue
Axiata reported second-quarter 2020 net profit of RM80.02 million, down from RM220.56 million a year earlier, and revenue of RM5.79 billion, down from RM6.15 billion. The group attributed the revenue decline to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown measures across its operating markets.
