Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment because a transmission system control unit software error may cause vehicles to fail emissions standards and show abnormal torque and power readings, recalling 17,235 domestic E-Class vehicles.
