    Franchise Store's Lamb Tests Positive for Banned Antibacterial Ofloxacin

    In a 2020 sampling notice, the Beijing Municipal Market Supervision Administration reported that lamb sold at Bianyifang Roast Duck's COFCO Wanke Changyang Peninsula franchise store tested positive for the banned veterinary drug ofloxacin at 60.1 μg/kg (required to be undetectable), and sulfonamides at 428 μg/kg (limit 100 μg/kg). The store was punished by the Fangshan District Market Supervision Administration. Bianyifang terminated the franchise cooperation and ordered the sign removed.
