    Ecopetrol completes acquisition of 51% controlling stake in Brava Energia

    Ecopetrol, through its wholly owned subsidiary Ecopetrol Investimentos do Brasil Ltda., completed the acquisition of approximately 51% of the outstanding voting share capital of Brava Energia, following satisfaction of all applicable regulatory approvals and other conditions precedent. The transaction was completed through settlement of a voluntary tender offer on the B3 exchange for approximately 25% of Brava's shares and closing of a share purchase agreement dated April 23, 2026 for approximately 26% of Brava's shares, with aggregate consideration of approximately US$1.2 billion.
