Bulog's domestic rice procurement reaches 4.11 million tonnes, exceeding Indonesia's 4-million-tonne annual target

Per latest data from Indonesia's state logistics agency Bulog, domestic rice purchases from local farmers this year reached 4.11 million tonnes, officially exceeding the government's 4-million-tonne annual domestic procurement target. Bulog president Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani said procurement had surpassed the 4-million-tonne plan set by President Prabowo with a completion rate above 100%. Bulog bought at the government-set protective price of 6,500 rupiah per kilogram, and national rice stocks peaked at about 5.4 million tonnes, described as a record high since independence.
