Capita pension administration delays

The report says delays in Capita's administration of the Civil Service Pension Scheme have left retired civil servants and bereaved families waiting months for payments. It reports that 1,643 bereavement or death-in-service cases were more than 100 days old as of 30 September, and that some families could face a tax charge if death benefits are not paid within two years.
