Cedar Realty Trust announced definitive agreements for a series of related all-cash transactions, including the sale of its company and remaining assets to Wheeler Real Estate Investment Trust after the other described transactions are completed. The proposed transactions are subject to customary closing conditions, including Cedar shareholder approval, and were expected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2022.

Asland Capital Partners, Cedar Realty Trust and the Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group announced a joint venture to construct the first phase of Northeast Heights, a mixed-use office and retail development in Washington, D.C. The announcement also said the partnership had secured $105 million in construction financing from J.P. Morgan.
