Celsa fined after fatal steelworks explosion
Celsa was fined £1.8 million after an explosion at its Cardiff steelworks killed two workers and seriously injured another. Celsa Manufacturing (UK) pleaded guilty to breaching workplace health and safety regulations; investigators found the company had failed to assess risks to employees during the maintenance work.
