Ceres agrees to acquire TraPac Jacksonville
Ceres announced that it had agreed to purchase terminal operator TraPac Jacksonville from Mitsui O.S.K. Lines. The transaction was subject to closing conditions, and Ceres was expected to begin operating the terminal on March 1.

Pioneer Foods recalls LiquiFruit and Ceres apple juice
Pioneer Foods recalled certain 100% apple juice products sold under the LiquiFruit and Ceres brands after a limited quantity of supplied apple juice concentrate was found to contain elevated levels of patulin. Consumers were urged not to consume affected products and to return them for a refund or replacement voucher.
