Former Chengdu Railway Bureau director Qi Wenchao was involved in a bribery case; in 2015 China Railway Corporation disciplined 13 senior executives at once, with the Chengdu bureau becoming a "disaster area"; former chairman Zhou Rong was investigated in 2023, and deputy general manager Wang Song in 2024.
