Ordered by Nasdaq to delist; parent China Electric Equipment Group in bankruptcy reorganisation and U.S. factory in liquidation
China Sunergy was ordered by Nasdaq to delist in March 2016 after repeated warnings, because the market value of its public float had long been below US$15 million and its share price below US$1. Its parent, China Electric Equipment Group, was petitioned into bankruptcy liquidation by creditors in 2018 because it could not repay its debts, and the Nanjing Intermediate People's Court accepted it for reorganisation in July 2020. Its U.S. subsidiary Sunergy California filed for bankruptcy protection in 2021, and its 400MW module factory in Sacramento was liquidated. Delisting, bankruptcy reorganisation.
