CDL boardroom dispute
Chairman Kwek Leng Beng accused chief executive Sherman Kwek of attempting to push through board and committee changes without proper approval. Sherman Kwek rejected the allegations and defended the appointments as intended to strengthen the board. Legal proceedings were later withdrawn after an agreement to move beyond the dispute.
