Google introduces Cloud Run instances in preview
Google introduced Cloud Run instances, a new product now in preview, providing a single dedicated Cloud Run runtime for long-lived, stateful workloads such as always-on AI agents. Each instance runs as a singleton without autoscaling, can stay active for up to seven days, restarts automatically under a default policy, and keeps a stable HTTPS address. Google positioned pricing below a dedicated virtual machine for some use cases, citing $5.70 for a 1 vCPU, 1 GiB instance running continuously for 30 days.
