Thuraya and Cobham Satcom agree on broadband distribution
Thuraya entered an agreement with Cobham Satcom for Cobham to distribute Thuraya next-generation broadband products for land, aeronautical and maritime users. The distribution is non-exclusive and is to run for a minimum of five years from the commencement of commercial operations on Thuraya 4-NGS.

Yahsat selected Cobham Satcom to deliver a mobile broadband system, including ground infrastructure and products, for its next-generation Thuraya 4-NGS system. The contract covers development of terminals for land, maritime and aeronautical applications.
