    Nvidia releases open-source AI model Nemotron 3.5 Lightning

    Nvidia released the open model Nemotron 3.5 Lightning, which the company says can run on a single GPU on a personal computer and is freely available to enterprises for download, use and modification without a license or fee. Nvidia says the lightweight model targets AI agent applications and can be deployed on PCs, workstations, data centers or cloud environments. Nvidia also released open-source software NeMo Switchyard to help enterprises select and combine AI models. Companies including CrowdStrike, CodeRabbit and Harvey have tested and customized the model for cybersecurity, legal services and code review.
