    LTX releases open-weights video and world model LTX-2.5 with native ComfyUI integration

    LTX, the open-source world-model company spun out of Lightricks, released LTX-2.5, a new open-weights video and world model, on August 11, 2026, with native day-zero integration into the node-based workflow tool ComfyUI. The company claims the model can generate a 10-second video from a single image in 6.8 seconds on Nvidia flagship chips at roughly one-eighth the cost of comparable models, and offers a pretrained version for physical AI and robotics.
