Comrod completes acquisition of TransOpto
Norwegian communications company Comrod has completed the acquisition of TransOpto, a Kristiansand-based developer of wireless free-space optical data links, adding optical communications technology to Comrod's defence communications portfolio. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Comrod acquires Sørskår Mekaniske Verksted
Comrod announced its acquisition of Sørskår Mekaniske Verksted AS, a supplier of mechanical services to Comrod. Sørskår management and staff will remain with the company; its workshop is planned to relocate to Comrod at Tau in a new building scheduled for completion by June 2020.
