EEOC sues Dentsu International Americas over pregnancy discrimination
Lawsuit filed
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission sued Dentsu International Americas in federal court in Minnesota on August 26, 2026, alleging the advertising and marketing firm refused to hire a pregnant finalist for a full-time Experiential Production Producer role because she was pregnant and would need maternity leave, and instead hired a male candidate the agency says was less qualified. The EEOC claims violations of the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and Title VII, and seeks back pay, damages, and a court order barring similar conduct. The allegations have not been tested in court.
