Fabulous responds to allegations over Gris artwork
Company response
After Devolver Digital drew attention to similarities between artwork in the Fabulous app and Gris, Fabulous said it had concluded an investigation, described the matter as a mistake, and said it had fixed it. A designer said they had taken inspiration from Gris too far and acknowledged that they had ripped off the game.

Since then Fabulous itself has issued a statement on Medium, saying that "we concluded our investigation and included a statement from one of our designers. We consider this as a mistake that we proceeded to fix as soon as we heard rather than something we did with the goal of hurting".
I fully realize that I ripped off the game now, but in the animation process that wasn't my intention at all.
